This maker had premises in High Street, Peckham, London and flourished during the banjo "boom" (1880 to 1914) and is said to have been a maker of cheap zither-banjos for the retail trade.

 

Many of the zither-banjos in the shops for less than £1 at this time would have been produced by him.
